Go Bowling Cairns celebrated International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) on December 3 with an Afternoon Tea and a display of special needs equipment designed to give people with a disability the opportunity to enjoy the game of tenpin bowling alongside their family and friends.

There was a ribbon cutting ceremony before guests joined in for a bit of tenpin bowling fun. (See the photo gallery link at the bottom of this page for photos from the day!)

The next event for people with a disability will see the launch of a new competition and learn to bowl better course on January 21.

People with a disability, carers, family and service providers are invited to attend and learn more about competition tenpin bowling, make new friends, gain more confidence and have fun doing it!

There are two session times, either 10.30am or 1.30pm - at a weekly cost of $12pp then running for 6 weeks.
